In the article, the author discusses the accomplishments of the feminist revolutions in areas like religion, marriage and job markets. Also cited are the works of first-wave feminists like Mary Wollstonecraft and John Stuart Mill on civil rights like women suffrage and property ownership, the second-wave feminists like Betty Friedan and Kate Millett, and the book "New Chastity and Other Arguments Against Women's Liberation" by Midge Decter.
