    Abstract

    Mukherjee engaged in a critical analysis of two literary texts from South Asia and Palestine to show how gendered subaltern subjects’ articulation of resistance in the face of sovereign state’s violence give a new direction in the narrative about the corporeality and discursive practice surrounding the “third world” women’s body.
