Abstract
Whether you’re excited or wary, the next generation of AI has exploded into the consciousness of higher education and industry. Boise State’s School of Nursing has recognized the use of AI is rapidly expanding in US healthcare, and future nurses require an education on AI tools to be prepared for this workforce reality. With so many questions around AI, how do educators approach this topic? This presentation will discuss the information and strategy used to introduce first year nursing students to AI and address the concepts of opportunity and responsibility presented to our students.
