Abstract
This chapter describes a coaching model for supporting clients in proactively improving their overall wellness. Wellness is a multidimensional construct that utilizes a salutogenic approach to health. Various wellness models and supporting research are discussed, and a common factors approach is presented in which specific domains of wellness are described. Strengths-based techniques for work with clients are presented, as well as practical application of the model.
