Abstract
This book provides an outstanding discussion of Pottery Hill, a contact period site in central Nevada. The work consists of nine chapters and two appendices. Chapter 1 provides a useful review of the ethnographic and historic contexts of the Grass Valley Shoshone during the period of 1863–1920.
