Abstract
Let me start by saying how grateful I am to everyone who has reached out with their support since I was announced as the incoming editor of the journal. In my experience, the American School Health Association (ASHA) and the Journal of School Health (JOSH) communities have always been open and supportive, which has certainly been the case during this transition.
