Abstract

Reischl’s presentation described current applications of Internet-based robotic control systems in university teaching and research laboratories. He included a demonstration of the Boise State University thermal manikin laboratory, which is accessible globally via the Internet. Reischl also offered new ideas for use of such a technology approach to more efficiently share laboratory resources among academic institutions internationally.
