Abstract

Making Paintings Move. An Alternative Approach to Visual Storytelling and Animation , this is the title of the Public Lecture that Professor Roland Becerra will hold at Manifatture Digitali Cinema Prato (via Dolce de 'Mazzamuti 1, Prato) on Wednesday 5 December 2018 , from 18 to 19.30.

Prof. Roland Becerra, art professor at the Lyme Academy College of Fine Arts of the University of New Haven and currently in charge at the Tuscany Campus of Prato , will talk about his latest project, AGATHA , a unique visual experience, in which each image seems to be a real moving picture. A hybrid between film and painting inspired by the history of Connecticut, which Becerra has been working on since 2010 and which should be completed at the end of 2019, of which some passages will be shown .
