Abstract

Healthy team dynamics are essential for effective cross-functional product development team (CFPDT) performance and consequently successful development of products. Research on leadership shows that a large part of the effectiveness of a leader is based on his/her management style. This work demonstrates how the management style of the team leader effects the internal dynamics of a cross-functional product development team.
