Abstract
When Academy of Certified Archivists (ACA) President Pam Hackbart-Dean approached me to write an article about my experience taking the ACA exam, I responded by asking to co-author it with colleague Cheryl Oestreicher. I explained we chose to pursue certification together. With Pam's approval, we sat down to write about our preparations for and experiences with the exam, as well as results of certification.
