Abstract

We cannot ignore the times we are in. The disruption brought about by COVID-19 has pierced through the fabric of our presumed normalcy and has touched our lives in an unforeseen manner. The concerns that face us today are not limited to a geography, industry, race, religion, political affiliation—it impacts us all. It has affected and continues to present unprecedented challenges to public health, food system, and the world of work (WHO, 2020).
