Noise minimization in quantum transistors

Abstract

We present limits on the minimal noise produced in transistor-type linear amplifiers and a practical procedure for obtaining these limits. The validity of the procedure is verified for a signal which is produced by a set of LC circuits and amplified by a molecular transistor.
