Abstract
Accessibility issues are often treated as an accommodation for a specific user and offer adaptive retrofitting but do not address best practices within the design process. Bandaids are put on this communication system without addressing the root cause. Through an analysis of interviews, accessibility scholarship, and classroom strategies this presentation argues ethical inclusion for all bodies within communication practices.
