Abstract

The authors appreciate the discusser's comments on our manuscript. We believe that careful feedback enhances the impact of our paper (Pak et al, 2023) to researchers and practitioners in the structural engineering domain. The issues raised by the discusser pertain to the scope and significance, black boxes in machine learning, and engineering applicability.
