N2 - Often viewed as a mechanism for demonstrating relevance in an era of increasing attention to science, technology, engineering, and mathematics, the digital humanities (DH) has become an area of increasing interest to scholars in beleaguered humanities fields. While DH activity in English studies has largely come from the literature scholars, the past few years have seen an uptick in DH projects in rhetoric and writing. Rhetoric and the Digital Humanities , the timely collection edited by Jim Ridolfo and William Hart-Davidson, both provide an introduction of rhetoric studies to the interdisciplinary field of DH and offer key questions, approaches, and considerations for rhetoricians engaging with DH.
