Abstract

Evidence based practice calls for social workers to meet their clients where they are. Subsequently, evidence based pedagogy would call for social work educators to meet their students where they are. We know that now, more than ever, our students are on social media, connecting with peers across the world. It's time we start the process of joining them by prioritizing global social work distance education through social media platforms like YouTube, Podcasts, TikTok, Snapchat, Reels, etc.
