Abstract

Jen Pierce was featured on the Feb. 20 edition of PBS Newshour for a segment titled, “Some states are trying to downplay teaching of climate change. Teachers see ‘educational malpractice.'” The segment explores how teachers are responding to legislative attempts in Idaho and elsewhere to weaken or dismantle science standards crafted by educators and scientists.

The piece also features perspectives from Boise State masters student Clay Roehner and Katie Gibble, a Boise State geosciences alumna.
