Abstract

Sustainable supplier management (SSM) and absorptive capacity (ACAP) have been linked to creating a competitive advantage, but the interrelationship between the two has not been studied. We use MAXQDA to analyze company visits and interviews with eighteen Brazilian and German firms. The impact on sustainability performance is also examined.
