Abstract

Inspired by and dedicated to Leslie A. Adelson, this edited volume sketches, investigates, and expands contemporary transnational German studies. Borrowing one of Adelson’s signature concepts, the contributors apply the notion of “touching tales” to a wide range of contemporary texts and contexts. They thus make a significant contribution to our understanding of the pluralization of contemporary German literature.
