Abstract

This paper describes a synergistic combination of hardware and software which makes teaching and demonstrating the concepts of system transfer functions much easier and more effective. The program interfaces MATLAB directly to an inexpensive Texas Instruments TMS320C6711 DSP Starter Kit without requiring specialized programming by the professor or student. It eliminates the need to purchase expensive software or hardware for teaching those concepts.
