Abstract
A social architecture factor model of individual's resistance with technological change in the architecture/engineering/construction (AEC) industry is discussed. This model of individual resistance investigates the importance of behavioral characterstic measures indicative of resistance to change. Primary categories of individual resistance factors include type and scope of change, method and speed of introduction, and demographics of organization etc. A discussion of specific measures for technological change identified for each of these categories is presented.
