Abstract
In this presentation, we explore strategies for creating customizable asynchronous modules designed to teach foundational research skills to dual credit students. With a focus on multimodal learning, the modules incorporate a variety of learning experiences within the distinct dual credit environment. Portland State University has multiple dual credit programs across more than one LMS presenting us with the challenge of addressing a variety of curriculum and learning outcomes within one package. Finally, we will discuss how an Open ethos helped to shape the project and the final outcome, an Open Educational Resource, and our next steps for the project.
