Abstract

Athletes under report concussions at an alarming rate. In our project, athletes' knowledge, attitudes, and behavior toward concussions were explored with several psychological constructs (athletic identity, sport passion, perceptions of concussion seriousness) used as predictors for reporting behavior. Additionally, athletes indicated who they would go to if they suspected they had a concussion and why they indicated those individuals.
