Abstract
Organizations today use integrated applications to collect, store, manage, and analyze data for a wide range of business activities. Typically referred to as enterprise resource planning (ERP), it is a category of business management software that includes “integrated modules for accounting, finance, sales and distribution, human resource management, material management and other business functions based on a common architecture” that links the enterprise to both customers as well as suppliers (Mabert, Soni, & Venkataramanan, 2001, p.70).
