Abstract
Participants rated honest and dishonest people using the Big Five Factors; they perceived honest people to be higher on facets of Extraversion, Agreeableness, Conscientiousness and Openness than dishonest people. Participants perceived dishonest people to be higher on Neuroticism than honest people. Results were consistent with self-generated descriptions of honest people.
